One of just eight detached villas in an exclusive gated development called Porters Court. All the villas are built in a traditional Bajan chattel house style and surrounded by tropical gardens. The traditional exterior provides a perfect contrast to the contemporary interior.

Sandy Lodge is a stylish Barbados holiday home perfect for a safe, comfortable, carefree and relaxing holiday – all with a touch of luxury! Quality fabrics, finishes and bed linens have been used throughout.
Sandy Lodge is perfect for a couple, two couples or a family. If your children are older, it would be safe for them to catch the local bus into town or walk to the beach.
If you would like to holiday with other family groups or friends, there are other villas in Porters Court that can be rented. Contact us and we can check availability.
One big advantage of holidaying in Sandy Lodge is its location. Close to the beach, Holetown, beach bars, restaurants and the bus stop, yet within a tranquil area. The best of both worlds. There is no need to hire a car because the bus service takes you all over the island and is cheap – US$1 per journey regardless of distance. However, if you’d like to hire a car there is free parking right outside the villa.
Sandy Lodge is a poolside villa set in a tropical garden. The pool is very close to the villa, without being overlooked. You are able to sit on part of the veranda and watch your children.
The Kitchen
Newly fitted and fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, oven, ample cutlery and crockery and numerous utensils and gadgets.
There is a separate laundry room with washer / drier; beach chairs, umbrella and cool box and iron and ironing board;
Plentiful supply of towels to use both inside the villa and by the pool/beach.
The Lounge
The lounge is open plan with access to the front and side verandas. The two sets of French doors allow lovely breezes to cool the room. There is aircon and two ceiling fans.
You can relax on the sofa or armchairs, watch TV (multi channel), read, listen to music (Bose bluetooth speaker) or just chat.
The sofa does convert to a bed and if used as a sofa bed the powder room with hand wash basin and toilet is useful.
The Veranda
One of the joys of holidaying in Barbados is being able to spend a lot of time outside. Sandy Lodge has a wrap around veranda, accessed by two sets of French Doors. One of the veranda sides faces the pool area.
You will find a large dining table with four comfortable chairs as well as a sofa and footstool.
This area is ideal for dining, entertaining, relaxing and reading. A gas BBQ (with all the necessary utensils) will provide you with all you need to cook and eat al fresco!
Although there are usually plenty of breezes, a ceiling fan is provided to keep you cool.
The Master Bedroom and En Suite
The Master Bedroom is an airy spacious room with a vaulted ceiling and direct access to the veranda.
You will find a Superking size (US King) bed with quality linens, two bedside tables with lamps, plenty of plug sockets and a dressing table with mirror. This bed can be split into two singles (larger, US size) if required.
There are two double wardrobes with lots of hanging space and shelving.
The Master bedroom also has a safe in which to keep your valuables.
The En Suite has a large walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet.
There is plenty of storage space.
Bedroom has air con and ceiling fan.

The second bedroom is a spacious double with a vaulted ceiling and has a UK Kingsize bed (US Queen).
The room has two double wardrobes, with plenty of hanging space and shelving.
The en suite has a large walk in shower, vanity unit and hair dryer.
Bedroom has air con and ceiling fans.
The Study
The villa has a small study area with a telephone, selection of books, games and an area for recharging your appliances.

The Pool
Sandy Lodge is 5 steps from the pool deck. Here you will find plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and although shared by 7 other villas in Porters Court, the pool area is rarely busy.
The pool is beautifully warm. At night this area is lit, making it lovely for late night swims.

The Beach
Sandy Lodge is a 4 minute walk to the beautiful, sandy Alleynes Beach. The beach has many quiet spots, but you will also find beach bars – JuJus and The Top Deck, the famous Lone Star restaurant, and the Royal Fairmont Hotel. You can hire sun beds and various water sports are available. The Caribbean Sea is beautifully warm and calm. You can snorkel at this beach and swim with turtles. The photos below shows a quiet spot on the beach, just along from The Lone Star and JuJus Bar and the entrance to the beach.
